The Kettle Moraine Community Time Bank 2nd Annual Community Day Potluck and Festival
Saturday, July 9th, at 12pm at Ridge Run County Park
Last year we all had so much fun that we thought we should do this again! We look forward to seeing you at our second collaborative community festival event. Again this year representatives from many West Bend groups will join us to share their focus on building bridges and opportunities to helping one another in the community.
This is going to be an event of simple pleasures: non-commercial and green*. There will be a delicious potluck (all are asked to bring a potluck dish to pass and their own drinks), Mexican Folklore Dancers, the Quint-Essential singing group, Improv and family games. **Ridge Run’s shelter #1 sits in a beautiful part of the woods on the Ice Age Trail next to a new playground and bathroom, and a grassy field for games.

12:00 Festival Begins. Enjoy Mexican Folkloric Dancers
12:45 Potluck time. Let's Eat! (Please bring a dish to share and your own dinnerware. We are providing jugs of fresh water and coolers with ice for leftover food)
1:30 Learn about the Kettle Moraine Community Time Bank
2:00 Community Building Organizations Open Mic
2:30 Improv – short, spontaneous comedic performances. Fun for everyone!
3:30 Game of kickball for all ages
While we eat, the QuintEssentials will serenade us with songs.
Children's Games and Acitivities happening at same time as CBO info – 1:30pm.
A $3.00 per person suggested donation is appreciated.
Please RSVP no later than June 30th if you would like to attend. Please indicate the number in your party attending, and the potluck dish you will bring. RSVP to kmctimebank@gmail.com or 262-347-3226.
Remember to bring your own utensils, cups, dishes, and larger water dispensers. Frisbees and other outdoor games will be put to good use!

* A green, non-commercial event would mean everyone brings their own utensils, plates, cups, and perhaps large containers for water instead of many plastic water bottles (water is available at the shelter). The event emphasizes the simple pleasures of community and is, essentially, commerce-free. We’d like to play some old-fashioned family games together, such as kickball, three legged and sack races etc… while the entertainment comes from musicians in our community.
** DIRECTIONS: Travel west on Hwy 33 past the intersection with 45 – go south on Scenic Drive (the third left after hwy 45 is a four-way stoplight with Villa Park Drive going north and Scenic Drive going south) – travel about one mile and turn left into the Ridge Run County Park entrance—Shelter #1 is at the end of the road.
