SEPTEMBER CELEBRATIONS AND EVENTS

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th There will be quite a parade on Wisconsin Ave.
On this Labor Day folks representing unions will be parading
followed by a People's Parade with some remarkable, huge puppets. Check paper for time.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th is the annual Fighting Bob Fest in Madison.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st, "Afghanistan: Will We Ever Leave?" with Matt Rothschild, editor of the Progressive Magazine, will meet at 7:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee Friends Meeting House, 3224 N Gordon Pl. ( two blocks east of Humboldt on Auer).
Mark is an excellent speaker.


SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th CELEBRATE PEACE! We will be having a two-part program celebrating the “International Day of Peace” and “Experiences in the Peace Corps” featuring ex-volunteers who will share their experiences and the impact on their lives.
Plan on joining us on Sunday, September 25, 1:30 – 3:00 pm at Regner Park, West Bend around the Peace Pole! Bad weather back-up is the Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend. Further details on the September 15th. Questions? Contact Bud Hudson, 262-673-9725.
